Seasons of love...
Okay, so call me a OCHSA sellout, or question my walk with God.... but Rent is opening in the theatres November 11th of this year! :-) Apple Trailers has a nice lengthy trailer up... hopefully this musical endeavor will turn out better than its predecessors... Phantom of the Opera :-)

Rent is such an awesome show as far as talent is concerned, and it's almost all the original cast! How awesome is that? Yeah, it should be better than Phantom due to the talent... these people can actually sing.

oh, and this is late, but I just found you so I'm catching up on your posts. Rwanda: no, people didn't pay attention. I followed the story, and after the tsunami when everyone was up in arms about lack of aid, I asked, "well, how much aid did we give THEM?" and I got blank stares... we stayed out of it. I guess we're only interested in liberating/democratizing/saving CERTAIN countries.

the RENT movie is going to suck, unfortunatelyt theyve toned it down to appeal to shmucks who can't handle the reality of gay love as well as the fun of cross-dressing! :)
